• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form sheet metal parts according to blueprints and process instructions.
• Monitor tooling, clamps, and material stock; adjust machine parameters to maintain part tolerances.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, sketches, and tolerance notes; measure parts with precision instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, inspect parts for quality, and document production data and deviations.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, maintain a clean workstation, and communicate any issues to supervision.
• Knowledge of fabrication shop practices
• Press Brake setup, tooling, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and perform basic shop math
• Use of measuring instruments and precision inspection tools
• Must be familiar with various air bending punches and dies as well as spring back forming.
