Presales Engineer

Role overview

What you'll do

• Prepare technical and engineering inputs for sales tools used by sales teams and resellers to learn and present Ascom's solution portfolio, focusing on medical device integration.
• Deliver in-person and web-based demonstrations and technical seminars to customers and reseller partners.
• Provide technical input to sales, marketing, and product teams for marketing activities, market planning, and product and service development.
• Engage with sales teams and clients to help close projects in Ascom's favor.

Candidate requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Competence in healthcare IT systems, HL7 integration, server and network infrastructure, and system interoperability.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming for database management, customization, integrations, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to support technical presales discussions with hospital IT and biomedical teams.
• Ability to present solutions independently, compare Ascom solutions to the market, and customize solutions to existing customer environments.
• Experience integrating medical equipment in a hospital setting.
• Experience leading workflow discussions with hospital medical teams.
• Knowledge of Ascom's portfolio is advantageous.
