Role Description

As a Presales Consultant ClearSkies™, you will engage with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery sessions, product demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions.

During active sales cycles, your primary responsibility will be to position the ClearSkies™ solution as a value-driven offering and gain customer acceptance as the preferred choice over competing solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and business development teams to support, implement, and execute growth strategies, contribute technical expertise throughout the sales process, and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales engagement.

Sales Presentations & Customer Engagement

  • Prepares and delivers high-level presentations to prospective customers and end users covering ClearSkies
  • Threat and Vulnerability Management Platform, solutions, services, product value proposition, and technical requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships throughout the entire sales cycle.

Technical Expertise & Enablement

  • Facilitates technical deep-dive sessions with customer prospects.
  • Supports technical workshops and webinars for customers and prospects to promote innovative solutions.

Pre-Sales & Business Development Support

  • Supports the business development team with RFIs and RFPs.
  • Maintains the sales process, including RFI/RFP responses, demos, and business case creation.
  • Collaborates with the sales team to identify whitespace opportunities and promote effective sales methodologies.

Post-Sales Support

  • Provides post-sale support to ensure smooth implementation and transition.

Product Innovation & Professional Representation

  • Works closely with the business development team to support product innovation and prioritize enhancements.
  • Ensures a high level of professionalism while strengthening Odyssey’s reputation.

Knowlegde, Skills And Experience Required

  • 3+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or consultancy within the IT or ideally with the Cyber Security Sector
  • Proven track record in Sales achievement and establishing a new business
  • Experience in Business Development for Cyber Security Products such as Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, MSS/SOC, NOC, etc.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, qualifying and engaging with potential partners and clients
  • Account planning & handling experience
  • Excellent understanding of software development and technology as a whole
  • Superior volume of relationships in the Information Security community within the assigned region
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, including verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
  • Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
