As a Prep Cook , you'll play an essential role in supporting our culinary team by preparing high-quality ingredients, maintaining an organized kitchen, and ensuring chefs have everything they need to deliver outstanding meals for hotel guests and special events.

Requested Tasks

Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, peeling, measuring, and portioning according to recipes and production needs.

Assist chefs with the preparation of menu items for restaurant service, banquets, catering events, and special functions.

Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, prep areas, storage spaces, and kitchen equipment.

Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.

Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products in accordance with food safety standards.

Receive, organize, and stock kitchen deliveries and inventory.

Support culinary staff during meal service and event execution as needed.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Follow all health department regulations, food safety practices, and sanitation procedures.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional kitchen environment at all times.

Requested Capabilities

Previous experience as a prep cook or in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.

Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.

Ability to accurately follow recipes and written or verbal instructions.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Dependable, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Ability to stand and work for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks

Ability to safely use kitchen tools, equipment, and knives
