Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a volume food preparation environment, ideally in retirement, long-term care, or hospitality
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Food Safe Level 1 certificate (Level 2 preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under time constraints
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Team player with strong customer service and clear communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, push, and carry items during meal preparation and service
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
- Preparedness to respond to emergency situations in accordance with residence protocols
- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
