Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Pre-Sales Voice Engineer

  • technologies.
  • Key Responsibilities – Pre-Sales Engineer (Unified Communications & Networking)
  • Solution Design & Proposal Development: Analyse customer requirements and design Alcatel-Lucent-based UC, telephony, and network solutions. Develop technical proposals, BoQs, solution architecture, and compliance matrices tailored to each opportunity.
  • Technical Consultation & Customer Engagement: Act as the technical point of contact during the pre-sales cycle. Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, deliver technical presentations, and provide expert consultations to enterprise customers and partners.
  • Product Demonstration & Proof of Concept (PoC): Prepare and deliver customized product demos and proof-of-concept implementations across Alcatel-Lucent platforms and associated applications. Support similar POCs for other major vendors in voice and networking.
  • RFP/RFI Response Management: Lead the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and alignment with Alcatel-Lucent and multi-vendor capabilities.

• Partner & Vendor Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams, distributors, and vendors to align on solution strategy, product positioning, and competitive differentiation, especially across hybrid or multi-vendor environments.
  • Training & Enablement: Provide pre-sales training, product updates, and enablement sessions for internal sales teams and channel partners on Alcatel-Lucent offerings and other supported technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
  • Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise certifications. Relevant certifications from other leading vendors
  • 4–7 years of hands-on pre-sales or solution design experience in Unified Communications, IP Telephony & Enterprise Networking domains. Strong knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent solutions and related management platforms.

• Pre-Sales & Communication Skills

  • Proven experience in responding to RFPs/RFIs, preparing technical proposals, solution diagrams, and client-facing presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills with the ability to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic or French proficiency is a plus in certain markets.
  • Team player with strong cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, PoCs, and training when required
