Responsibilities

• Identify strategic opportunities in AI infrastructure and AI applications and provide expertise to embed F5 technology.
• Act as an AI technology and business evangelist and thought leader.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and business leaders to share ideas, surface customer pain points and industry trends, and identify appropriate solutions.
• Advocate for customer needs, valuable everyday use cases, and ideas from the field with product management and services teams.
• Provide technical and business feedback on product design, architecture, launches, and updates.
• Mentor the Solution Engineering community as needed.
• Educate teams and customers through whitepapers, training, blogs, technical tips, and presentations.

Experience and qualifications

• Experience as an AI evangelist, thought leader, and mentor, and experience working with strategic business opportunities.
• Experience in AI best practices, technology landscape, and ecosystem; knowledge of AI application architectures, including LLMs, orchestrators, agents, and tools.
• Knowledge of AI infrastructure and data center network designs and reference architectures for east-west and north-south traffic; NVIDIA reference architectures are preferred.
• Knowledge of AI application security and storage architectures for data delivery in AI training, fine-tuning, and inference.
• Advanced use of AI tools for content search, analysis, generation, task automation, and potentially vibe coding.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application patterns, including Kubernetes, APIs, microservices, and service mesh.
• Advanced knowledge of business-outcome-focused architecture, engineering, and operations practices.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to executives and business leaders; extensive experience with business-driven demonstrations and presentations.
• Experience speaking at customer or industry events, or publishing whitepapers, solution articles, blogs, or technical tips.
• Deep knowledge of F5 solutions and at least 8 years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Role capabilities

• Serve as liaison among Sales and Marketing, Product Management, and Product Engineering.
• Familiarity with F5 products and the broader ecosystem is beneficial; the employer provides training and certification.
