The company delivers critical IT infrastructure projects and seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer for its presales department.
The department develops solutions for client requirements and supports the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Scope technical solutions for customer needs, assess unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value.
- Gather input from customer stakeholders and adapt solutions to ensure appropriate support.
- Coach sales associates in product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
- Identify additional business development opportunities and work with sales to progress them toward closure.
- Monitor customer support for proposed solutions and flag risks to deal closure.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 6–7 years of IT industry experience, including at least 4–5 years in technical presales engineering.
- Broad knowledge of systems, cloud computing, virtualization, networking, and IT security.
- Experience preparing end-user training materials and attending trade shows, exhibitions, or events.
- Maintain a good vendor and supplier database.
- Strong communication, customer focus, autonomy, and time management; able to explain technical advantages as business benefits.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 8,500 per month.
