Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports for various departments.
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (e.g. Excel, databases, SharePoint, Google Sheets, internal tools).
- Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Build clear, user-friendly dashboards with well-structured data models behind them.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, readability, and ease of maintenance.
- Manage access permissions and security settings for dashboards.
- Provide basic training to teams on how to use and interpret dashboards.
- Support periodic data updates and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Requirements
- 1 4 years of hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and Power Query (M language).
- Ability to clean, structure, and transform raw data into usable formats.
- Solid understanding of visualization best practices and dashboard design principles.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Google Sheets, SQL, or APIs is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in the UAE and available for on-site collaboration as needed.
