Qualifications
- Alberta Fourth Class Power Engineering Certificate is required .
- Valid Class 5 Canadian Driver's Licence with an acceptable Driver's Abstract.
- Previous experience operating commercial boilers, HVAC, chillers, refrigeration, and mechanical building systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems is an asset.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an asset.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and exceptional guest service.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency situations.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform physically demanding work.
