Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Junior Post-Production Expert (Lightworks) to work on a contractor basis.
In this role, you will apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Your domain knowledge will be instrumental in validating AI-driven instructions and evaluating AI recommendations for media format and codec compliance.
This critical work will contribute to the development of frontier AI models, driving innovation in the video production and AI industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Review non-linear editing (NLE) workflows and validate AI-driven instructions for advanced trimming, console-based editing, and efficient bin management in Lightworks.
- Audit post-production processes, focusing on specialized features such as the Shark Console, multi-cam functionalities, and VFX routing within the Lightworks environment.
- Evaluate AI recommendations for media format and codec compliance, ensuring seamless delivery for Avid/Protools interchange and XML/EDL exports.
- Assess AI-generated user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for video editing, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing feedback.
- Collaborate with a global network of experts to contribute to the development of AI systems, shaping the future of the video production industry.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lightworks, with experience in NLE workflows and advanced trimming, console-based editing, and efficient bin management.
- Strong understanding of AI-driven instructions, including the ability to validate and evaluate AI recommendations for media format and codec compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a global network of experts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback.
- Domain knowledge in video production, with a strong understanding of the production process and the ability to identify areas for innovation and improvement.
