Role Overview
The Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and facility environment in compliance with SQF standards, GMP requirements, and company sanitation procedures.
This role supports overall plant operations by ensuring work areas remain orderly, sanitary, and compliant with food safety and quality standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of janitorial, sanitation, or institutional housekeeping experience.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to safely operate equipment including a scissor lift, pallet jack, and cardboard baler in accordance with OSHA training requirements.
- Experience using general cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
- Familiarity with GMPs, food safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Experience working within SQF or other food safety certification programs.
