Summary
Monitor aquatic activities, enforce safety rules, and provide immediate rescue and emergency care to protect the health and safety of all patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise swimmers and monitor water conditions at all times.
- Identify and prevent unsafe behaviors and potential hazards.
- Enforce facility rules and safety regulations.
- Perform water rescues when necessary.
- Administer first aid, CPR, and AED assistance during emergencies.
- Respond quickly and effectively to accidents and incidents.
- Inspect and maintain rescue equipment and safety supplies.
- Conduct opening and closing safety checks of the facility.
- Assist with emergency action plans and evacuation procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer guest questions.
Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming and water rescue skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- Swim long distances and perform rescue techniques efficiently.
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Lift and assist individuals during rescues.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (if applicable).
Preferred Skills
- Previous lifeguarding or aquatic safety experience.
- Knowledge of pool operations and water chemistry.
- Experience working with children and large groups.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
