HEICO Component Repair Group is currently looking for a Lead Technician for our Pneumatic shop. If you are outgoing, a fast learner and looking for a company where there is a chance for advancement, this is the position for you. The position will be located in Miami, FL. In this position, the Lead Technician may be required to:

Disassemble assemblies, clean assemblies, repair or perform the removal and replacement of components, re-assembly of parts in accordance with OEM and FAA approval data.

Keep all personal and company tools in working conditions.

Assist manager with the supervision of the technicians, as well as to assist and facilitate the technicians in accomplishing their tasks.

Manage and supervise the department in the absence of the Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Skills/Education & Experience:
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret Repair station and Quality Control Manuals, company policies, procedures and regulations
  • A&P Certification a plus but not required
  • At least 15 years of experience as a lead technician preferred
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be a team player
