Commissioning and construction delivery
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
- Coordinate FEED/EPC contractors from construction through commissioning and handover.
- Review construction and installation plans, procedures, EPC package requirements, and designs for constructability and scope compliance.
- Coordinate and assist fabrication at EPC contractor and subcontractor facilities.
- Supervise, monitor, and inspect contractor and subcontractor work at construction locations or manufacturing facilities.
- Maintain contractor adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements; identify slippage and recommend corrective action.
- Provide construction input to estimates, bid preparation, and bid requirements.
- Visit sites and facilities, conduct surveys, prepare reports, review designs, and liaise with contractors.
- Identify specialist vendor support, tools, and equipment needed to implement the scope.
- Coordinate constructability reviews and readiness reviews to suit model progress and planned deliverables.
- Liaise with ADNOC Offshore Operations, PMT, procurement, and project controls on technical data, materials, equipment, work orders, and schedules.
- Formulate civil deliverables to meet project requirements and participate in HSE improvement activities.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or another discipline.
- At least 15 years of oil and gas industry experience, including at least five years in a similar role.
- PMC experience on EPC onshore brownfield production-upgrade and existing-facility modification projects is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of construction completion procedures, pre-commissioning activities, and construction activities in the relevant discipline.
- Ability to review engineering drawings and challenge work content for safe, cost-effective improvements.
