PMC Senior Engineer OR & A (Maintenance Operations & Readiness)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance readiness plans for new offshore facilities and brownfield projects.
• Review engineering deliverables for maintainability, operability, and reliability.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and develop related procedures and work instructions.
• Populate SAP PM or CMMS with equipment data, maintenance plans, task lists, and bills of materials.
• Perform equipment criticality reviews, RCM, FMEA, and risk-based maintenance assessments.
• Coordinate with engineering, EPC contractors, operations, commissioning teams, and vendors.
• Verify spare parts strategy, warehouse readiness, and critical spare availability.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, mechanical completion, commissioning, and PSSR activities.
• Support asset integrity, shutdown planning, turnaround readiness, and root cause failure analysis.
• Monitor equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, backlog, and reliability KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience in oil and gas maintenance.
• At least 5 years of experience in offshore operations.
• Experience in operations readiness, commissioning, maintenance planning, and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, static equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, and safety systems.
• Experience with ADNOC, major EPC contractors, or international oil companies is preferred.

Technical Skills

• SAP PM and CMMS implementation.
• Maintenance and reliability engineering, including RCM, FMEA, RCA, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Asset integrity management, shutdown planning, RBI, and ISO 55000 asset management.
• HAZOP, PSSR, KPI reporting, and performance analysis.
• Leadership, decision making, stakeholder management, communication, planning, and safety leadership.
