PMC Senior Construction Engineer (Civil)

Role

Construction management and coordination

• Supervise onshore civil and structural works, including earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, roads, buildings, drainage, and underground utilities.
• Check construction against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Coordinate daily site activities with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and other discipline teams.
• Review contractor plans, methods, schedules, and resource mobilization; track progress and report deviations, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, HSE, and commissioning teams.

Quality, safety, and contractors

• Implement approved Inspection and Test Plans; review and approve work inspection requests and civil site technical queries.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet project quality requirements and international standards.
• Enforce HSE policies and regulatory requirements; participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Stop unsafe work and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor contractor performance and productivity, and coordinate resolution of construction issues with contractors and engineers.

Requirements

• Proven track record overseeing and managing civil construction activities on ADNOC Onshore projects.
• Knowledge of ADNOC standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
• Experience representing a PMC in supervising EPC contractors during site execution.
