PMC Senior Civil Engineer – Site Based

Role and location

Engineering delivery

• Provide technical expertise in civil and structural design and ensure compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor, and manage civil and structural engineering design with the EPC contractor to meet project expectations and timelines.
• Work with IPMT, EPC contractor, ADNOC engineering, operations, site interface, and discipline engineers to resolve technical issues and support quality engineering delivery.
• Review consultant and contractor deliverables for design quality, code compliance, standards, and best practices.
• Integrate civil and structural engineering and coordinate within the IPMT mechanical, civil, and structural engineering team.
• Review and approve consultant and EPC contractor work against ADNOC specifications, codes, standards, and industry practices.

Technical coordination and support

• Contribute expertise to design options, business models, design optimization, and validation.
• Participate in equipment sizing and selection, including optimization and standardization.
• Ensure facilities follow corporate environmental and health guidelines and make effective use of existing facilities while optimizing new project requirements.
• Participate in layout, model, and design reviews and technical workshops.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers and support technical reviews, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning; report to ADNOC's Discipline Team Leader and Engineering Manager and support project teams.
• Interface with company technical, business, operations, and logistics units, and with contractor engineering, project management, and discipline teams.
