Role overview

Construction and delivery scope

• Oversee structural steel and piping fabrication, module assembly, equipment installation, welding, inspections, coating, and load-out preparation as applicable.
• Monitor progress, contractor performance, resources, work-front readiness, interfaces, risks, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSE, quality, engineering, procurement, logistics, offshore installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Support completion, release, transportation readiness, documentation, project reporting, and continuous improvement.

Education and experience

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or another relevant engineering discipline is specified.
• Requires 20 years of overall relevant industrial construction, fabrication, and project execution experience, including 8–10 years in construction or senior fabrication management on major EPC projects.
• Requires large-yard, multidisciplinary fabrication experience and demonstrated contractor management, progress control, and coordination across project teams.
• PMC or client-representative experience is strongly preferred; ADNOC or comparable operator project experience is desirable.

Technical and leadership capabilities

• Knowledge of fabrication methods, ADNOC requirements, international codes, welding, welder qualifications, NDT, inspection, traceability, and quality documentation.
• Ability to review drawings, isometrics, structural details, work packages, and method statements; knowledge of Primavera P6 and project controls.
• Leadership, contractor management, communication, negotiation, risk assessment, reporting, and multidisciplinary coordination are emphasized.
• Module assembly, lifting studies, load-out, transportation, professional certifications, and Arabic are described as advantageous or desirable.

Work location and schedule

• The role requires ability to work at fabrication yards in Abu Dhabi or other designated UAE locations.
• Extended hours may be required for critical fabrication, inspection, load-out, and dispatch milestones.
