Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation programming
Solid knowledge of PLC languages (Allen Bradley, RX Logix 5000, 500, Siemens) and HMIs (RS Studio)
Knowledge or ability to create schematics, wiring, and layout drawings
Knowledge of electrical and control design areas, including power distribution, system studies, control systems, variable frequency drives, PLC, DCS, HMI systems, would be an asset
Experience with applying and troubleshooting wiring and electronics controls
Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to span both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent prioritization skills with minimal guidance and direction
Experience with the freezer control panel or similar panel protocol is preferred
Working knowledge of UL, CSA, CE is considered an asset
