Role overview
Build and evolve a Kubernetes environment that helps development teams deliver innovative solutions with confidence.
Work across cloud and DevOps technologies to improve platform resilience, automation and operational excellence.
Create a secure, observable and highly available platform for critical business applications.
Key responsibilities
- Build and enhance Kubernetes platforms supporting critical business applications.
- Drive automation, observability and platform reliability at scale.
- Partner with development teams to enable modern engineering practices.
- Work with AWS EKS, Rancher, GitLab, ArgoCD, Terraform, Grafana and related technologies.
- Support production environments and contribute to Agile product teams.
Required experience
- Kubernetes administration expertise, supported by CKA certification or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS and/or Rancher Kubernetes platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes security, including RBAC, Kyverno and secrets management.
- Experience with GitOps, Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Proven capability with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and StackState.
- Strong understanding of core Kubernetes concepts and Amazon EKS architecture.
- Knowledge of Rancher cluster management, multi-cluster orchestration and custom cluster deployments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices, particularly within GitLab.
Additional qualifications
- Awareness of data security, governance and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Experience working collaboratively in Agile product teams and supporting production environments.
