About the role

What you’ll do

• Define and operate the internal platform, roadmap, service catalog, and self-service capabilities.
• Improve developer experience and manage resilient Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Lead IaC adoption and define scalable, secure, cost-effective infrastructure patterns.
• Embed security controls, policy-as-code, least privilege, zero trust, and identity and access management.
• Use AI/ML for operational insights, cost optimization, incident response, and productivity.
• Govern reusable API, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns; mature CI/CD and automated delivery.
• Implement observability and support reliability targets, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to platform governance and cross-team standards.

Essential requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least seven years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, including at least three years in leadership.
• Strong Azure experience and working knowledge of AWS; hands-on IaC experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps and secure pipelines, designing integrations and APIs, and applying AI tools in engineering workflows.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, incident management, and Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, lifecycle, and access-control models.

Preferred criteria

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert; AWS certifications; CKA or similar.
• Experience implementing internal developer platforms, AI/ML platforms or MLOps, FinOps, or cloud cost governance.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive salary of $120,000–$130,000 per year.
