Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process plant equipment according to SOPs and operating instructions.
• Inspect equipment and report abnormalities or defects.
• Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, flow, levels, and equipment speed.
• Perform safe plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency shutdown.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and ensure proper handover.
• Handle chemicals and maintain stock and consumption records.
• Manage work permits, operator rounds, E-logs, and ongoing jobs.
• Monitor contractors and ensure HSE compliance.
• Participate in emergency response and firefighting activities.
• Maintain HSE, housekeeping, and operational discipline.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in Chemical/Process discipline, or secondary school certificate with a relevant vocational/trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of Oil & Gas Plant Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas plant operating procedures and processes.
• Experience with equipment monitoring, plant start-up/shutdown, emergency response, and safe work practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience scheduling, coordinating, checking, examining, and recording operational activities.
• Intermediate English language proficiency.

Pay information

• The posting lists AED 7,000 to AED 8,000 per month; the posting is for a manpower pool rather than one specific job.
