Plant & Field Engineer- LPG

We are currently recruiting a Plant & Field Engineer- LPG for our client to be based out of their Dubai Office.

Responsibility-

• Monitor daily operations and maintenance of the LPG Filling Plant and LPG Distribution Centre, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity within the LPG operations.
• Monitor the handling of LPG cylinders and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with the maintenance unit, contractors, and government bodies regarding scheduled maintenance activities of LPG plants and cylinders, as well as project activities.
• Manage procurement of materials for the LPG Filling Plant and LPG Distribution Centre in coordination with the Purchasing and Stores section, raising purchase requests in the Oracle system.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, coordinating with emergency response teams and conducting post-incident analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, safety inspections and maintenance activities, preparing reports for management review.
• Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, quality control, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
• Provide and maintain technical data with respect to products and equipment.
• Check the quality and integrity of products, equipment and facilities within industry standards and requests for routine quality inspection checklist audit; follows-up accordingly.
• Ensure all LPG operations comply with company quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence by implementation best practices in LPG operations.
• Optimize workflow and resource utilization to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
• Ensure Tanker Deliveries to Customers are in line with Emarat HSE Guidelines, SOPs and regulations.

Skills-

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in LPG Bottling plant/ Commercial LPG Installations/LPG Projects.
• AutoCAD Knowledge.
• LPG Regulations - NFPA, UAE Fire & Safety Codes etc.
