Role overview
Supports planning and scheduling work for AECOM projects in the Transportation business line.
The role develops foundational scheduling knowledge and assists with project schedule and baseline activities.
Responsibilities
- Collect data, update schedules, and produce scheduling reports.
- Assist in developing and maintaining work breakdown structures.
- Assemble schedule-update data and help measure project schedule progress.
- Gather data and produce initial analysis for schedule baseline development and maintenance.
Role qualifications
- Develop foundational knowledge of planning and scheduling concepts, including effects on financial performance.
- Develop familiarity with schedule-development data sources and construction drawings, specifications, and contracting.
- Identify and investigate schedule variance.
- Understand CPM scheduling and engineering, procurement, and construction schedule logic.
- Develop knowledge of scope control, change management, earned value, and basic scheduling and cost baselines.
Workplace
- Work location model is on-site.
- New hires must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
