Project context
Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for new-build stadiums, stadium redevelopments, and precinct transformations in Riyadh.
The programme includes new stadiums, increased capacity at existing stadia, mixed-use amenities, and knowledge transfer for operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
Role overview
Supports planning for medium-complexity projects, portfolios, or parts of larger programmes.
Ensures projects and tenders are planned, scheduled, and monitored through collaboration with project management teams.
Responsibilities
- Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity, and responsible delivery.
- Deliver through clear planning, quality systems, and stakeholder collaboration; supervise change and commercial performance.
- Lead teams to achieve KPIs and share best practice.
- Develop integrated plans that respond to site, logistics, and programme constraints.
- Track progress, productivity, deadlines, and reporting obligations with project teams.
- Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Embed safety, sustainability, and carbon reduction throughout programme delivery.
Requirements
- Produce programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision.
- Use software at an intermediate level and provide schedule outputs in formats suited to the audience and context.
- Have established experience in the built environment and with projects.
- Understand procurement routes and contract types and forms; have a basic understanding of RIBA stages.
- Respond effectively and sensitively to client and stakeholder requests, and communicate programme drivers, goals, and issues to project teams.
- Working toward a professional qualification such as CIOB, APM, or PMI; other locally relevant qualifications may apply.
