Planning Manager - Rail

Opportunity

Planning responsibilities

• Own planning standards, integrated master schedules, critical-path analysis and schedule assurance.
• Develop and maintain schedules aligned with delivery objectives and contractual requirements; coordinate planning inputs across project teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor baselines, performance, variances, risks and opportunities; produce schedule analysis, critical-path assessments and forecast updates.
• Integrate planning with cost, risk, change and project controls; maintain accurate reports, deliverables and programme records.
• Develop practical programmes that account for safety, logistics, procurement, construction and sustainability.
• Contribute to net-zero transition goals and proactively manage carbon emissions and reductions during delivery.

Candidate requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in the applicable discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in rail, metro, high-speed rail or comparable major infrastructure programmes.
• Strong client-facing, analytical, written communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Knowledge of relevant delivery processes, standards, systems and governance.
• Professional membership, chartership or specialist certification is preferred where applicable.
• UAE or wider GCC experience is advantageous but does not replace demonstrable technical and delivery competence.
