Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor Primavera P6 schedules covering construction from mobilization to handover; prepare cost- and resource-loaded programmes, change logs, KPIs, and extension-of-time materials.
• Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors on baseline schedules, risks, and action plans.
• Prepare look-ahead programmes, progress reports, mitigation plans, and recovery or revised programmes; verify progress through site visits.
• Coordinate milestones with authority NOC approvals, traffic-diversion programmes, and permits; analyze critical path, float, and resource allocation.
• Present progress updates, conduct delay analysis, prepare contractual correspondence, and coordinate with project controls and document control.

Required qualifications and experience

• Engineering bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years’ discipline experience, including at least 5 years in the proposed role on similar projects of similar size and complexity in the UAE.
• Experience on at least two projects in Dubai within the last five years and experience in bridge and infrastructure construction are required.
• Good English skills and strong knowledge of Dubai authorities’ procedures and standards are required.
• Advanced Primavera P6 and MS Office Suite knowledge; strong construction methodology, sequencing, and project workflow understanding are required.
• Planning and project-controls background should include baseline, recovery, revised, and monthly programmes, planning reports, S-curves, productivity analysis, and KPIs.
• Relevant project experience should cover coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project management teams.

Technical and contractual knowledge

• Bridge and infrastructure methods include piling, pile caps, steel structures, deck slabs, bearing works, heavy lifting, temporary works, and structural logistics.
• Contractual knowledge includes FIDIC contracts, claims, progress measurement, and earned value management.
• Etihad Rail and RTA project experience is identified as relevant; experience on similar clients is also referenced.
• PMP certification is preferred; Primavera P6 Professional Certification is listed as an additional qualification.
