Role overview

Work arrangement

• Employees are required to report to the Dallas office four days a week; the posting states this requirement is not negotiable.

Planning and inventory duties

• Develop purchasing and inventory plans, applying constraints as needed to meet capacity and financial budget objectives.
• Expedite and monitor production orders through the supply chain to satisfy service demands.
• Issue purchasing requisitions for assigned products, follow up on shortage reports, and provide expected in-stock arrival dates.
• Authorize and assign inventory rehandles as needed.
• Track critical vendor shipments and import product development when required.

Projects and analysis

• Assist management or project teams with long- and short-range planning, performance development, and process improvement.
• Conduct studies, prepare reports, and advise on feasibility, cost effectiveness, and regulatory conformance.
• Work on projects and assignments as part of a large team; perform other duties as needed.

Experience and education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles, industry practices, and standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential data; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
