About This Role
Merchandise Planning & Logistics Management
- Manage local 3PL operations, including import, export, customs clearance, and regional stock movements across the UAE, Kuwait, and Uzbekistan.
- Coordinate all stock movements with 3PL partners to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Manage and evaluate 3PL service providers to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of agreed service levels.
- Partner with the Buying team to ensure the right stock is delivered within required capsule launch windows across each country while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Create and manage delivery trackers by country to ensure deliveries align with order confirmations and planned intake.
- Monitor rate of sale across all channels to optimise inventory levels and overall trading performance.
- Manage replenishment OTB to ensure stock investment remains aligned with budget, demand, and business requirements.
- Track and control logistics costs by country for all import and export movements in line with budgeted targets.
Allocation & Replenishment
- Manage initial allocation and replenishment across stores and channels from the warehouse to support optimal inventory levels.
- Manage inter-channel stock rotations based on sales performance and stock availability to improve sell-through.
- Manage stock allocation for marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Manage stock allocations for sale periods, customer orders, RTVs, and regional stock transfers.
Forecasting & Analysis
- Analyse historical sales, market trends, and trading performance to forecast demand and support stock planning.
- Identify trading risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to optimise sales, stock, and margin performance.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly trading reports, analysing key KPIs, sales performance, and inventory position to support commercial decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Buying teams to support assortment planning, intake management, and seasonal trading strategies.
- Work closely with Retail teams to identify stock opportunities, trading risks, and store performance actions.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Operations teams to support efficient stock flow and operational execution.
- Support E-commerce and Marketplace teams with stock availability, trading performance, and promotional activity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between sales plans, inventory levels, and commercial priorities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support key business and trading decisions.
- Support markdown, promotional, and clearance strategies to optimise sell-through and stock efficiency.
- Ensure effective communication across departments to support smooth trading operations and inventory management.
- Coordinate with ERP teams in Russia to ensure weekly data accuracy across all systems, maintaining accurate stock and sales reporting across each region.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Use ERP, planning tools, and advanced Excel models to analyse and improve Retail result.
- Improve planning processes and reporting accuracy.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in logistics management & merchandise planning within fashion retail.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, google sheets and inventory management.
- Advanced Excel skills; planning systems experience preferred.
