Piping Supervisor

The Piping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.

This role involves managing a team of pipefitters and ensuring that all piping work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee piping projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.

Inspect piping installations and repairs to ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and specifications of piping systems.

Develop work schedules for piping staff, assigning tasks based on project needs and team members skills and availability.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and other trades, ensuring clear communication regarding project progress, issues, and changes.

Identify and resolve issues that arise during piping installations or repairs, including troubleshooting and providing effective solutions.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including project timelines, materials used, and any changes to project scope.

Ensure that all piping work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among team members.

Oversee the maintenance and repair of piping tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
