Structural Foreman

Supervise and provide guidance to Structural fitter on their daily job.

Study and implement project drawings, contract documents, standards and specifications of the project.

Manage day to day Structural work is entrusted and set plans for implementation from start to finish.

Plan and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., for the required work prior to implementation.

Familiarity with Project procedures and specifications of the Structural work.

Read and understand Structural support detail drawings, Bill of materials etc...

Ensure and transfer material identification/traceability.

Differentiate different material grades and ensure required precautions are taken, to avoid mix up and contamination of various grades.

Recognize different types structural shapes understand details mentioned on name plates / labels / other identifications.

Ensure / preserve construction tools & Instruments, which are used on job, are calibrated and fit for use.

Supervise the work day to day work allocation & set goals and ensure that they are accomplished on a daily basis for Structural groups at site.

Provide daily site reports on completed work and open work fronts on a regular basis to the department manager and planning department.

Prepare daily reports on Structural progress.

Responsible for the safety of the members working on project by ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures & standards.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
