Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Abu Dhabi, primarily focused on delivering home-based physiotherapy services to patients across the emirate.

The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

include conducting home visits, documenting assessments and progress notes, educating patients and families on exercises, equipment use, and safe mobility techniques, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.

The role also involves monitoring treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards, and maintaining clear communication with physicians, nurses, and caregivers.

The Physiotherapist will uphold patient dignity and cultural sensitivity while supporting the organization’s mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered home healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physiotherapy degree (Bachelor’s or higher) from a recognized institution and eligibility for relevant UAE professional licensing (e.g., HAAD/DOH).
  • Proven experience in physiotherapy, preferably in home healthcare, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, neurological, or geriatric care settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, including functional mobility assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and outcome evaluation.
  • Proficiency in delivering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, pain management techniques, and use of assistive devices.
  • Ability to educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, safe transfers, and equipment usage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and diverse cultural environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage home visit schedules, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Comfort with clinical documentation systems, basic digital tools, and maintaining accurate, timely electronic records.
