Pharmacy Technician II- PRN

Experience

• Must have worked as a Pharmacy Technician II for at least one (1) year in this facility and be proficient in at least one expanded roll. See Essential Function Items 19. (a) through 19. (d) above.
• Certification/Licensure: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with Kansas Board of Pharmacy is required prior to first day of employment. CPhT certification is required.
• This position requires frequent walking and standing with occasional sitting. Occasionally one must lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and push or pull items up to 150 lbs. (~30# effort). Manual and finger dexterity are required as well as eye-hand coordination. Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal range. Some exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials and needles is required. Working conditions are sometimes stressful. Frequent bending, twisting, climbing, balancing, stooping, and overhead work is required. Frequent grasping and reaching is required. Frequent grasping and reaching is required. Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols. One must be able to use a telephone, typewriter, copier, fax machine, computer terminals, and printer.
