Job Overview

Store Management

• Ensure store readiness by monitoring compliance with internal readiness guidelines such as staff readiness (uniforms, name tags) and store readiness (temperature, storage conditions).
• Perform duties in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures applicable at store level, such as loyalty program registration.

Operations

• Process prescriptions and dispense medication by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and consulting on dosage, storage, side effects and drug interactions.
• Educate customers on proper handling of medical equipment designed for home use, such as glucose meters.
• Supervise and provide development opportunities for retail store staff through performance management, corrective actions and development conversations.
• Monitor key sales performance targets and customer satisfaction levels through direct observation and regular reporting.
• Process payments and reconciliations by handling the cash register and coordinating with the Finance team.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by consulting with customers and proposing appropriate products.
• Perform and monitor operational and staff-related administrative tasks including work flow, team schedule, attendance, order entries, stock logistics, inventory management, expenses and price updates.

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance at store level with Health & Safety policy and procedures and other required operational standards.
• Dispense and advise on over-the-counter/non-prescription medication to treat common illness by checking symptoms and recommending best course of action.

Pharmacological Knowledge

• Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

Job Requirements

• Education: BSc in Pharmacy (required by law).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience.
• Computer Skills: MS Office Suite.
• Languages: English - mandatory; Arabic - mandatory.

Work Environment

• Indoors: 100%; Outdoors: 0%.
• Working Days: 6 working days; Days off: 1 day off.
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM with a 1 hour break.
