Role summary
Supervise and manage pest-control operations in Dubai, covering inspections, pest identification, treatment planning, technician supervision, client coordination, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Inspections and treatment
- Inspect residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and food-related establishments.
- Identify infestations, assess risks, recommend treatments, and prepare plans using Integrated Pest Management techniques.
- Supervise technicians, ensure safe pesticide application according to product instructions, monitor results, and arrange follow-up treatments.
Reporting, compliance, and safety
- Prepare and approve service and inspection reports, quotations, and treatment schedules; maintain pesticide, complaint, contract, and service records.
- Comply with Dubai Municipality requirements and applicable UAE regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks and train staff on chemical handling, PPE, and workplace safety.
- Ensure proper storage, transportation, handling, and disposal of pesticides and related waste.
Client and commercial coordination
- Coordinate with clients, facility-management companies, restaurants, hotels, and property managers.
- Support customer retention, contract renewals, and technical sales activities.
Qualifications and experience
- Dubai Municipality Supervisor card required.
- Relevant Dubai Municipality approvals, professional accreditation, or permits required for the position.
- Knowledge of pest identification, pesticide application, and integrated pest management.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality pest-control procedures and inspection requirements.
- Previous UAE pest-control operations experience is preferred.
- Good English communication and report-writing skills; strong supervisory, organizational, and customer-service skills.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage or may be required by the employer.
Technical skills
- Pest identification and infestation assessment; Integrated Pest Management; pesticide safety and risk assessment.
- MSDS/SDS and chemical handling procedures; site inspection and technical reporting; staff supervision and quality control.
- Cockroach, rodent, termite, bedbug, ant, fly, and mosquito control and water tank cleaning are optional areas.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000–4,500 per month; the job details state salary is based on qualifications and experience.
