Role Overview
A Banking Advisor provides financial guidance to customers, helping them choose suitable banking products and services. The role combines customer service, sales, and financial knowledge, typically within retail or personal banking.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Understand customer needs and provide tailored financial solutions
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Product Advisory & Sales
Promote banking products such as savings accounts, credit cards, loans, and insurance
Cross-sell and upsell financial products to meet targets
Explain product features, fees, and benefits clearly
Account Handling
Assist with account opening, KYC documentation, and updates
Ensure compliance with UAE banking regulations and internal policies
Financial Guidance
Provide basic financial advice on savings, investments, and borrowing
Help customers plan for financial goals
Compliance & Risk
Follow Central Bank of UAE regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) policies
Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
