Role overview

Workplace and schedule

• The hybrid model combines in-person work at client sites or the AlixPartners office with remote work.
• Travel is part of the position and may vary by client, team, and individual circumstances.
• Office location is KAFD, Riyadh; working hours are 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday.
• The role may require work outside normal business hours as project needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead client delivery across strategy, operational improvement, cost transformation, and commercial performance.
• Advise senior executives and boards, especially in urgent, complex, or underperforming situations.
• Coordinate concurrent engagements and ensure excellent delivery and outcomes across teams.
• Drive business development by developing client relationships, shaping opportunities, and converting mandates.
• Build the practice through talent development, capability building, and global cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with turnaround, restructuring, due diligence, and value creation teams on multidisciplinary solutions.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of combined strategic consulting and industry leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of delivery and business development across complex client portfolios.
• Deep understanding of one or two sectors, value chains, and regional dynamics; Middle East experience is a strong plus.
• M&A, commercial diligence, or post-deal transformation experience is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving record, boardroom presence, and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Strong academic credentials from a top university; an advanced degree such as an MBA or MS.
• Advanced written communication and presentation-material development skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, database applications, and related tools.
• Fluent English is critical; Arabic is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must hold or be able to obtain valid Saudi Arabia residency.
