Role summary

Core duties

• Deliver projects to business objectives and agreed success factors for time, cost and quality.
• Recommend solutions and manage agreed implementation.
• Identify and implement service and system improvements and efficiencies.
• Provide project support and coordination.
• Analyse and collate data to produce solutions for administration teams within agreed timescales.
• Assess and assemble documentation for complex technical pension and calculation tasks and collect third-party project documentation.
• Coordinate with operations teams and managers to provide updates and confirm that deliverables meet requirements.

Skills and experience

• Detailed knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution pensions, technical legislation, pension calculations and scheme rules.
• Experience in a project team or on projects within a Pensions Administration Team.
• Ability to understand business requirements, issues and drivers affecting project delivery.
• Computer literacy, willingness to learn different systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving ability, strong numeracy and literacy, flexibility, prioritisation and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• A positive team approach, commitment to shared objectives, relationship-building ability and a strong customer-service focus.
