Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Payroll Executive / Payroll Officer to manage the complete payroll cycle for our UAE operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll processing, attendance management, WPS salary transfers, and UAE labor law compliance.

This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and the ability to independently handle payroll from biometric attendance reports through final salary processing and WPS submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full monthly payroll cycle from attendance extraction to WPS salary transfer.
  • Extract, review, and reconcile biometric attendance machine reports.
  • Verify attendance records, overtime, leave balances, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within strict deadlines.
  • Calculate salaries, overtime, commissions, incentives, deductions, leave salary, and end-of-service gratuity.
  • Prepare and submit WPS payroll files in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee master data.
  • Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, resignations, terminations, leave records, and contract changes.
  • Generate payroll reports, variance reports, and management summaries.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Handle payroll-related employee inquiries professionally and confidentially.
  • Support payroll audits and provide required documentation when requested.
  • Continuously review payroll processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of payroll experience within the UAE.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of: UAE Labor Law, WPS (Wage Protection System), Leave salary calculations, End-of-service gratuity calculations, Overtime and payroll reconciliation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory, including: VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and IF Statements

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Experience working with biometric attendance systems and attendance reporting.
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines.
