Responsibilities

Payroll Operations (End-to-End)

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.

• Validate employee master data, attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.

• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, allowances, deductions, and net pay.

• Manage payroll changes (new hires, exits, salary revisions, promotions).

• Process payroll through WPS and ensure timely salary disbursements.

Statutory Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

• Manage end-of-service settlements, gratuity calculations, final settlements, and related documentation.

• Prepare and submit statutory reports, declarations, and audits as required.

• Maintain payroll controls, approvals, and audit trails.

Payroll Accounting & Reconciliations

• Post payroll journal entries to the accounting system (GL) accurately.

• Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts (accruals, provisions, liabilities).

• Coordinate with Various department for project allocation and post allocation in ERP.

• Coordinate with teams on month-end and year-end close activities.

• Support internal and external audits related to payroll.

Systems & Data Management

• Maintain payroll systems and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

• Generate payroll reports, MIS, and analytics for management.

• Coordinate with ERP teams for system updates, testing, and enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 7+ years experience of hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, controls, and reconciliations.

• Experience with ERP/Payroll systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, ADP, Paychex, or similar).

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting and data analysis.

Skills & Competencies

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accounting principles.

• Strong knowledge of UAE law and WPS payment.

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

• Professional certifications (e.g., CA , CPA) are an advantage.

• Prior experience in multi-entity payroll environments.
