The Payee Services Representative supports healthcare providers with electronic healthcare insurance payments.
The role provides payment details, payment-processing guidance, product enrollment support, and online portal registration assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle provider calls about payments and enrollment.
- Resolve payment issues and explain electronic payment options.
- Assist providers with direct electronic funds transfer enrollment.
- Support online portal registration, setup, guidance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Navigate Zelis platforms and processes to provide first-call resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of Zelis payment products and company policies.
- Follow provider privacy requirements.
- Maintain scheduled adherence and productivity during assigned shifts.
- Meet monthly performance and attendance expectations.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
Professional Experience
- One to three years of customer service experience and experience helping people are required.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills are required.
- Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting proficiency are required.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude are required.
- Attention to detail, consistency, and reliability are required.
- Resilience and resourcefulness in customer service situations are required.
Education
- A bachelor's degree is required.
Technical Skills
- Comfort with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
