is seeking a dedicated and service‑oriented
Patient Access Agent
to serve as the primary point of contact for outpatient services.
The role focuses on ensuring smooth outpatient scheduling, registration, and patient flow while collaborating closely with clinical and support teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience and maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient patient registration in HIMS, including collection of co‑pays and deductibles.
- Coordinate with the RCM team to verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations for outpatient services.
- Schedule and process outpatient appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate outpatient medical records and ADT data.
- Coordinate outpatient patient flow, including appointment timing and support service arrangements.
- Liaise with housekeeping, dietary services, translators, and other support departments as required for outpatient care.
- Handle and escalate patient complaints appropriately according to hospital policies.
- Work on a shift basis in line with outpatient operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, healthcare administration, or patient relations.
- Prior experience in an outpatient or healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced outpatient clinical environment.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
