Role summary

Schedule and workplace

• Full-time management position at the Dubai property; the posting states that the role is not remote.

Education and experience

• High school diploma or GED and four years of culinary, food and beverage, or related professional experience; alternatively, a related two-year degree and two years of relevant experience.

Kitchen production and standards

• Maintain food-handling and sanitation standards and keep work areas clean.
• Oversee pastry and culinary production; prepare and cook food to required specifications, including during high-demand periods.
• Lead shifts and supervise cooks and other food-preparation workers.
• Check food quality and contribute to food presentation and decorative displays.
• Coordinate meal and event service timing with Restaurant and Banquet departments.

Team and department support

• Manage shift operations, staffing, supplies, equipment, uniforms, and assigned duties; train staff and provide performance feedback.
• Support departmental goals and new menus, concepts, and promotions for restaurant outlets and banquets.
• Handle guest concerns and encourage excellent guest service.
• Purchase supplies and manage food and supply inventories according to budget; report equipment malfunctions and attend relevant meetings.
• Follow loss-prevention policies and procedures.
