Role Description
This is a part-time, freelance, remote position for a Therapist at TherapyMantra.
As a Therapist, you will provide virtual counseling sessions across specialties such as individual, couples, child, or family therapy via secure online platforms.
Responsibilities
include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining thorough client records, and employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
You will also participate in occasional professional development opportunities and ensure timely documentation of client progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in providing individual, couples, or family counseling
- Strong skills in therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based practices
- Capability in conducting thorough client assessments and developing personalized treatment plans
- Excellent communication, empathy, and an ability to maintain confidentiality
- Competency in managing documentation and maintaining accurate treatment records
- Experience working with diverse populations and sensitivity to cultural differences
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or certified as a mental health professional in a recognized jurisdiction (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred
- Flexibility and willingness to work during various time zones to accommodate global clients
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on behavioral health practices
