Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Freelance Therapist.
The Freelance Therapist will provide virtual counseling services to clients, including individuals, families, or couples, addressing various mental health concerns.
Core responsibilities
include conducting assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, providing ongoing therapeutic support, and maintaining confidential client records.
Therapists will also participate in virtual team meetings and utilize TherapyMantra’s platform and tools to deliver care.
Qualifications
- Licensed professional credentials such as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or an equivalent in your practicing country
- Proficiency in virtual counseling, including experience with secure video conferencing tools
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness-based therapies
- Effective communication and active listening skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and non-judgmental support
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple clients remotely
- Comfortable using digital tools and maintaining accurate, confidential client records
- Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a range of mental health concerns
- Preferred qualifications: Experience in online therapy platforms, multilingual capabilities, and expertise in specialty areas such as trauma, addiction, or child therapy
