Part Time Bookkeeper

Overview

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and cash accounts.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments.
• Prepare VAT records and assist with VAT return documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Coordinate with the external accountant or auditor as required.
• Monitor petty cash and expense claims.
• Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, and data as required.
• Assist with general administrative duties and other office tasks as assigned, particularly during periods when bookkeeping responsibilities have been completed.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Excellent Proficiency using Quickbooks accounting software.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Must have a valid UAE residence visa (company sponsorship is not provided).
• This position would suit someone wanting to work school hours only.
• Flexibility on timing can be arranged, but we do require someone willing to make a commitment to learn and work with us long term.
