Paramedic – DCAS / DoH Licensed

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced patient assessments and emergency clinical evaluations.
• Provide ALS, CPR, and resuscitation within authorized scope of practice; manage emergencies, trauma, and critically ill patients.
• Administer authorized medications and perform advanced clinical procedures; monitor vital signs and support stabilization and safe transport.
• Operate and check advanced ambulance medical equipment; maintain accurate patient care reports and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with emergency departments, physicians, EMTs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow DoH protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, or equivalent, with a minimum three-year course duration.
• Valid DoH Abu Dhabi ACP license or applicable eligibility; at least two years of post-registration or post-certification ACP experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus PHTLS or ITLS trauma certification.
• Strong knowledge of advanced life support, emergency assessment, trauma management, and pre-hospital care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work full-time shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
• UAE residence with valid DoH licensing or eligibility is preferred.

Employment and compensation

• Job type is full-time.
• Pay is AED 8,000–10,000 per month; salary is based on qualifications and experience.
