Contract drafting and review

  • Review and redline NDAs, standard service agreements, vendor contracts, and third-party agreements, identifying issues for review.
  • Prepare initial drafts of commercial agreements, legal templates, amendments, and routine correspondence under lawyer supervision.

  • Organize legal records, corporate calendars, and signature-tracking systems.
  • Assist with corporate structuring, share issuance documentation, and transaction due diligence requests.
  • Research legal and statutory matters across Canadian federal and provincial jurisdictions.
  • Track external legal spend through e-billing, invoice reconciliations, and budgets in collaboration with Finance.
  • Improve SOPs, legal playbooks, and template libraries to support departmental efficiency and internal self-service.

Compensation and rewards
