QUALIFICATIONS:
- KNOWLEDGE

- Knowledge of packaging materials, packaging systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with project coordination and manufacturing operations.
- CAD software proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Project coordination and project management skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data collection and analysis skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
- Developing packaging concepts and drawings.
- Coordinating cross-functional projects.
- Analyzing packaging performance and cost data.
- Maintaining packaging documentation.
- Facilitating project meetings and communication.
- Supporting manufacturing implementation activities.
- Conducting packaging-related investigations and problem solving.
- Wear common protective equipment such as safety shoes and safety glasses when in production areas.
- Spend time in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Work under project deadlines and changing priorities.
- Frequent interaction with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Continuous Improvement personnel.

- Job Zone Profile:
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Graphic Design, or related technical field preferred
- Related Experience:
- 0-3 years of packaging, manufacturing, engineering support, project coordination, or continuous improvement experience preferred
- Job Training:
- Several weeks to several months of training with experienced employees and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Graphic Design, or related technical field preferred
- 0-3 years of packaging, manufacturing, engineering support, project coordination, or continuous improvement experience preferred
